The Finesse Process

Pre-Construction

Our process ensures that you will be engaging with a builder regularly throughout the project to bring your vision to reality. They will be able to provide detailed pricing and specifications, allowing you to keep your project within your budget. 

Questionnaire

To make sure that we are the best fit for you, we will send you a questionnaire email. This will allow us to gain an understanding of your project as well as help you find out if we can help you complete it.

Let’s chat

Once you are confident that we can help you with your project we will organise a catch up to discuss your vision. Here, we will show you what we do and provide you with detailed costings and chat through options about key points about the build.

Documentation

Moving on from your initial meeting, you will then go on to the documentation stage. During this stage, all the details are fined tuned. This includes:

  • Floor finishes
  • Windows and joinery
  • Electrical layouts and design
  • Kitchen
  • Bathrooms

We provide a guaranteed highly detailed and complete fixed price quote that includes high-quality products and trades. We have high quality control in place and outline all fittings and fixtures to ensure that all items are kept to a high standard.

Quote

Whether you’re completing a small renovation or starting a large project, we will provide a quote for builder consultations as well as the price for design and construction- if your project requires these.

Consultation

If you will be going through the design and construct process, you will have a consultation with a builder who will give you professional advice to keep your project within your budget.

Final Pricing

Further pricing and specifics will be discussed, taking into consideration the plans that might be provided. 

Contracts

After all details have been recorded and quoted you will move into the Contracts stage. Now that your vision is clear and outlined, finances can be sorted and contracts drawn up and signed by both parties. We are proud members of Queensland Master Builders and use fixed-price contracts which are clear and concise.

From here you will be classed as Signed and Scheduling. On payment of the deposit, your build will be scheduled for start. You will receive our construction pack containing:

  • A job schedule breakdown- so you know what’s going on and when.
  • Preferred consultation times request sheet- regular meetings so you can have input throughout the process.
  • Direct contact numbers and emails- you can ask your questions and get prompt responses.

Construction Stage

An outline of the Construction stage is as follows: 

  • Base Stage- footing, foundations and slabs
  • Frame Stage- walls and roof
  • Enclosed Stage- cladding, roofing and external doors
  • Fit-out Stage- internally finished- fittings and fixtures
  • Practical Completion- Finished, defect-free

Depending on the project there may be additional stages, but the above is a basic breakdown so you know what to expect.

Finally, Handover Stage: it’s all yours!! A final professional clean of your new place and all keys and documentation are given in our handover pack. All projects come with a QBCC- 6.5 year structural warranty and a 12-month maintenance warranty.
